We had a discussion with a total of seven participants, including one guest.
Each participant had their own unique study methods for English acquisition, making it a highly interesting topic.
With this number of participants, each person had more speaking opportunities.
Is there are shortcut to English acquisition?
Many people believe there is no shortcut. However, setting individual goals and achieving them can help reach the destination faster by ensuring dedicated study time.
What are the methods for acquiring English?
Methods mentioned include engaging in casual conversations through online English lesson, doing extensive reading, immersing oneself in an English-speaking environment, utilizing the Pomodoro Technique for learning, and acquiring language skills through non-native speakers’ conversations, among others
What challenges are participants taking on?
Participating in conversation groups every day, attending other toastmasters’ clubs, understanding various English pronunciations and intonations, volunteering to help other people using English, Getting back the investment in English lesson by skillful knowledge in English, and knowledge of different numeral system in the United States, India, and Japan.

本日は1名のゲスト参加により総勢７名でのdiscussionsでした。
皆さんそれぞれ英語習得には独自の勉強法をもっておられますので、とても興味深い題目であったこと間違いないです。
また、この人数ですと一人当たり話す回数が増えて、うかうかしていられません。
英語習得に近道はあるか？
多くの方から近道はない。しかし、各自にゴールを設定し達成することでは勉強時間の確保により早く目的地に到達するであろう。
2．英語習得方法は？
オンライン英会話にて雑談。音読。英語使用環境に身を置く。Pomodoro techniqueによる学習メッソド。非ネイティブの会話から習得する。など。
3チャレンジしたいことは？
会話グループに毎日参加する。他のトーストマスターズクラブに参加する。様々な英語の発音、イントネーションを理解する。投資した額の元をとれるよう英語習得する。ボランティアで英語が役立つようチャレンジ。米国、インド、日本、それぞれに異なる記数法の習得。など
