Regular Meeting 今回は6名のメンバーが参加しました。 ・Prepared Speech まず入会後1年のメンバーN さんによる準備スピーチ タイトルは My journey as a volunteer interpreter プロジェクトは研究と発表 スピーチの目的はメンバーが基本的な研究方法を学習またはレビューし、あらゆるトピッ クについてよく整理された、よく研究されたスピーチを発表することです。 国際交流ボランティアで日本の茶道を外国人の参加者の方々に披露したエピソードととも に茶道の歴史や作法などを説明してくださいました。 入会1年とは思えない堂々としたスピーチでした。 ・Table Topic Session 今回のテーブルトピックセッションは、冒頭でテーブルトピックマスターがメンバー全員 に自分が大切にしているものを一つ持ってきてくださいという指示があり、それぞれが持 ち寄ったものを2分30秒という時間を有効に使ってスピーチするという show and tell の ような試みでした。 ・Round Robin Session テーブルトピックの後で、今回初めての試みだったのですが、ラウンドロビンセッションを 行いました。順番に20秒喋り続けて20秒のところでラウンドロビンマスターがベルを ならし、ベルが鳴った時発した単語から次の人が話し始めるという、しりとりみたいなゲー ム。これは次々とバトンが渡されていくので3週したころには大分慣れて楽しくなってま たやりたーいという声が続出したので、次回からはミーティングの最初にウォーミングア ップとしてやりましょうと話がまとまった。 ・Individual Evaluation Session 最後に個人論評で、準備スピーチの論評を2分30秒で担当者が行いました。 今回も盛り上がって楽しいミーティングでした。
2023/08/26 Regular Meeting This time, 6 members participated. ・prepared speech session First, a prepared speech was given by member N who joined only a year ago. Speech Title: My journey as a volunteer interpreter Project: Researching and Presenting The purpose of this project is for the member to learn or review basic research methods and present a well-organized, well-researched speech on any topic.) The speech was very educational and intriguing. She explained the history and etiquette of the tea ceremony along with an episode in which she showed the Japan tea ceremony to foreign participants as an international exchange volunteer. ・Table Topic Session The table topic session for this time went this way. The Table Topic Master giving the instruction at the beginning for all members to bring one thing that they cherish. Then each person gave a two minutes and thirty seconds speech about the thing they brought, just like a show and tell-style. ・Round Robin Session After the table topic session, we had a round-robin session that we tried for the first time. It begins with the first person speaking for 20 seconds, then at 20 seconds, the round-robin master rings the bell, and the second person starts speaking from the word that is uttered when the bell rings. Next, the third person start speaking start with the word that second person was stopped. It goes on like this. The talking baton was passed one after another, so by the third round, we had gotten used to it and had a lot of fun, and many people wanted to do it again, so we decided to do it as a warm-up at the beginning of the next meeting. ・Individual Evaluation Session Finally, individual evaluation session, the person in charge commented on the prepared speech in 2 minutes and 30 seconds. It was a lively and fun meeting this time as always.
