昨晩は、ゲストおふたりをお迎えして学びの多い例会になりました。
まず会長が「外もすごく暑いけれども熱い例会にしましょう」と円陣ならぬ
zoom陣で気合いを入れてくれました。
会長からのビジネスセッションとしては、役員研修会に申し込んでくださいと要請がありました。
もちろん私は申し込みました。
TOEは、VPEのYさん。
歯医者さんに行かれた後でお口がよく回らないとおっしゃってました。
でも大丈夫でしたよ。
TimerのKさんは定番の色紙を使ってのタイミング表示。
Ah counter, GrammarianはYoodliがやってくれます。
さて、トーストの３本柱の１本目、Prepared Speechです。
スピーチが始まったとたん、え？ 何？ ゲスト？ インタビュー？？
こういうサプライズが仕掛ける方も仕掛けられる方も楽しいですねぇ。
そう、トーストマスターズクラブのスピーチは発想のスキルが鍛えられますね。
楽しいです。
続きまして、３本柱の２本目、Table Topics Session
質問されるドキドキが結構癖になります。
今回は、技術的なトラブルでお題を想像しながら応えるというドキドキが加わりました。テーブルトピックスの本来のお題の前に想像力を働かせる作業が加わりました。
スリリングな展開。でも何があってもトーストマスターズはチームワークで切り抜けます
こうして私たちは、クラブ員皆で成長していきます。
General Evaluatorもゲストの皆さんも、その点をとても評価してくださいました。
そして３本柱の３本目、Evaluation Session.
会長の総合論評中に私のevaluationのevaluationをしてくださったのですが、唸りました。
ほんとに、会長さんのGeneral Evaluationは学ぶところがたくさんです。
どのくらいすごいか、今度見学しにお越しください。
と言っても、次回の会長のGE担当日はいつか・・・まだわかりませんけれど・・・
かつて１３人以上？のスピーカーのevaluationをお一人でコンプリートされたのを目撃しました。
頭の中をのぞいてみたいです。
そして、ゲストからの感想をいただき、次回のTable Topics Boot Camp にも興味を持っていただいたようで嬉しいです。

Last night, we had a regular meeting and welcomed two guests. We learned a lot during the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, our club president mentioned, 'It's really hot outside, but let's make this meeting exciting.' If we were at the venue, we would have liked to form a circle, but that's not possible in a zoom room, so we formed a circle of the heart.
During the business session, the president asked us to sign up for the Club Officer’s Training so called COT.
I already signed up for it.
Then, we moved on to the main event. Mr.YK was a Toastmasters of the evening. She mentioned that her mouth condition was not perfect after a dentist visit, but she was okay. Yoodli was the Ah Counter and Grammarian.
Now, the first pillar of Toastmasters, the Prepared Speech. The speech surprised me as it turned into a guest interview. It was a fun surprise for the audience. Toastmasters club speeches are really enjoyable and help develop thinking skills.
Next, we had the Table Topics Session, where being asked questions impromptu can be thrilling. This time, I had an extra challenge as quetionees had to respond while the technical problem happening. The answerers had to imagine the subject of the question. It was an exciting twist, but thanks to teamwork, we handled it well.
The Evaluation Session came next. During our president played a General Evaluator role, he gave feedback on my evaluation, which was really helpful. I learned a lot from his evaluation.
We were happy to hear positive feedback from the guests and their interest in the next Table Topics Boot Camp.
